Pre-Choreography Team Tryouts
The Firebird Allstars is holding Open Tryouts on Sunday, August 7th at 6:00 PM for our Cheer and Hip Hop Competitive Teams.
Our current teams have a few spots available and we highly
encourage everyone to come out early, watch a team practice before Tryouts and see what we have to offer you !!
We have also decided, based on the calls and feedback
that we have recieved from numerous families and athletes, to form a Senior Level 4 Team.
If you are interested in a Level 4 Team with a World Champion Coach and Professional Choreography, this is it !!
The Key Skill Requirements for Level 4 are as follows:
Standing Back Tuck
Round-Off Back Handspring Layout
Toe-Touch Back Handspring Tuck Combination
In order to give our athletes the best chance of success possible, substantially every team member must have these skills. A team that has less that 75% of its athletes capable of these skills will not be viable at this level of competition.
Here is a link to the Varsity Scoring Ranges and Requirements that we will be judged on at most of our competitions and at the NCA Nationals in Dallas over Rodeo Weekend in February 2012. Our Senior Level 3 will also be attending this event which is one of the most prestigious in Cheerleading !!
